The intent of this study is to explore the perceptions of gender equity and gender roles in the sport of ultimate frisbee at it impacts members within Pittsburgh Ultimate through focus groups with community members. Pittsburgh Ultimate has not periodically collected or analyzed data from the community about their perception of gender equity, therefore the findings from the qualitative evaluation will serve as a foundation for more effective programming that addresses gender equity needs specific to Pittsburgh Ultimate.
