Most MSM were partnered with females (97%) and had a low rate of consistent condom use (7%). More MSM than heterosexual men selfreported a prior STD and risky sexual behaviors. MSM may act as a bridge for HIV transmission to female partners. Targeted interventionsmay help prevent a generalized HIV epidemic in China. date: 2009-11-01 type: Article type: PeerReviewed format: text/plain language: en rights: attached identifier: http://d-scholarship-dev.library.pitt.edu/19010/1/licence.txt identifier: Wei, C and Guadamuz, TE and Stall, R and Wong, FY (2009) STD prevalence, risky sexual behaviors, and sex with women in a national sample of Chinese men who have sex with men.
