Rydberg electron transfer (RET) reactions with rubidium atoms excited to ns2S and nd2D excited states were used for the purpose. The dependencies of the electron affinity upon dipole moment, dispersion interaction, polarizability, conformation and geometry of the molecules were also investigated. date: 2003-08-15 date_type: published publication: Journal of Chemical Physics volume: 119 number: 7 pagerange: 3650 - 3660 refereed: TRUE issn: 0021-9606 id_number: 10.1063/1.1590959 citation: Hammer, NI and Diri, K and Jordan, KD and Desfrançois, C and Compton, RN (2003) Dipole-bound anions of carbonyl, nitrile, and sulfoxide containing molecules.
